This was such a breeze to use. I used the wifi opt for my Androids. It worked great! Took less than 5 minutes to transfer all MMS and SMS messages. (Almost 400MB) I made sure to read all instructions before beginning. You need to be sure to set the Permissions in you settings. The process will also ask for wifi permissions. You will be prompted to set the app as default for the messages backup and restore. It is really a very easy to use app. Easier than Bluetooth pairing. Fully automatic.

I just switched from a Samsung to a Pixel and for some reason text messages failed to transfer over. After being unable to find a simple transfer method to transfer the files by plugging in the phones via USB I found this app. This app was simple to use, ads are nonintrusive on bottom, and it just worked. I couldn't have asked for more. I would highly recommend.

I'd been using SMS Backup and Restore for a long time with no problems until the restore function recently just stopped working. After reading so many positive reviews about this app, I decided to give it a try and glad I did. It works just fine, but noticed on the first try, all SMS and MMS messages were duplicated. Rather than go through literally thousands of messages and delete duplicates, I simply deleted all messages on the receiving phone, ran the app again and solved that issue.
