I created an account and got an email confirmation, but I have never been able to sign in. It always says "Unknown error - We have encountered an unexpected issue. Our team has been notified and is actively investigating the cause. Please try again later. if the problem continues, contact customer support.". Being able to sign in is required to connect the hot water heater to your home network via the Internet. This is a worthless app. It deserves zero stars but that isn't possible.

This only gets a second star, because when working, it's a great remote app. However, like many of the users, who have not gotten a reply from the company, I find having to re enter my S/N's for 4 $10k+ water heaters to be unacceptable. 2 are due for replacement, and I may convince the owners to go with more reliable, and better supported heaters...

The app is very unreliable. For example, it logs you out and logging back in is hit or miss. Usually you have to attempt to log in three times before it actually works. Sometimes the app forgets your water heater altogether and you have to reenter the serial number (hint: take a picture of the S/N on your water heater). When changing modes, just like logging in, you have to attempt this three times before you are successful. Overall, very disappointed with the app.
