Faster, but light grey font? It's hard to read the articles with their light grey font and unchangeable font size. The designers would do well to study the design of the New York Times or The Economist apps for good legibility and navigation. App has no settings options at all.
First thoughts on new app version I don't know the new version well at all, yet, but I do miss the sections named after the physical sections of the Post (Denver and the West, etc.) Maybe I just can't find them. But it was helpful to organize my reading congruently with the physical paper. I am hopeful. Stay tuned.
New version still bad, just in a different way The old version locked up, used too much memory an was very slow. The new version, while it does seem faster doesn't rotate, is missing a number of sections (international, national, politics,...) and is not conducive to reading several articles in a row.
Rebuild again Too much memory usage. No landscape capability like 90% of the apps. No way to change color and size of fonts. No options to set. A little faster but lost a lot of features.
No longer tablet friendly The app will no longer rotate so can be viewed on a tablet sitting in landscape mode. Very frustrating.
The app only comes up in portrait ?? I can't get it in landscape. I have Google pixel tablet.
