PixelRelay connects your Pixel — and any Android phone — to your Mac over your local Wi-Fi, so your Mac can browse your phone, grab files, and back up the folders that matter — without cables, accounts, or the cloud.
This is the free companion app. Install it on your phone, pair once with the PixelRelay app on your Mac, and your phone shows up on your desktop like a drive.
Everything happens directly between your two devices. Your photos, videos, and files never touch a server, and there's nothing to sign up for.

- Photos, media & all files: so your Mac can browse and back up the files and folders you choose. PixelRelay only reads them at your Mac's request.
- Notifications: to show transfer and backup progress.
- Nearby devices / Wi-Fi: to find your Mac on your local network.
HOW IT WORKS
- Install PixelRelay on your Mac.
- Make sure your Mac and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open both apps, tap Connect to Mac, and scan the QR code shown on your Mac.
- That's it — your phone is paired and remembered.
