Daily Prayer PCUSA provides brief services for Daily Prayer based on the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship (WJKP, 2018), including: psalms for the day, readings from the daily lectionary, and prayers of thanksgiving and intercession. Also included are the Revised Common Lectionary readings for Sundays and festivals, a two-year cycle of selections from the PC(USA) Book of Confessions, and an eight-week schedule for praying all 150 psalms.

The app provides liturgies for Morning, Midday, Evening, and Night Prayer, selecting the appropriate service and lectionary readings based on the time and date settings of your iPhone or iPad. The calendar tool allows users to find psalms, readings, and prayers for other dates. Use the clock icon to select Morning, Midday, Evening, or Night Prayer, overriding current time of day.

The “advanced features” menu allows users to toggle on/off various options in the liturgy for Daily Prayer and select between two versions of the Lord’s Prayer.

I'm updating my review. A few days ago, I logged in to use Morning Prayer, and found an almost blank page with "RangeError (length) invalid value: Not in inclusive range 0..2: -1". It still says this whenever I open the app. Some kind of error. Disappointing. I hope it can be repaired. I love this app! It's become such an important part of my discipline. I'm grateful to have found it.

I have depended on this app for daily devotions and staff devotions at our church for years. A few days ago it just went blank. The titles and categories are there, but the content is gone. Hopefully it's being updated or something, but the email address listed in the Play Store bounces back.

Quite a good app for engaging with God's word & prayer in a disciplined manner. Would be nice if day prayer had it's own brief verse (s) or passage of the scripture provided for each day of the week other than the daily lectionary & have the psalms more traditional to the day & night prayer selectable. Otherwise quite a good aid to a simple disciplined prayer & praise unto God.
