DEFENDER 1 brings the excitement of classic 1980s arcade action to your mobile device!

Take control of your spacecraft and defend the planet from relentless waves of alien invaders. Your mission is simple—but surviving it won't be.
Protect the astronauts on the planet's surface as alien Landers attempt to abduct them. Destroy the enemy ships, rescue the astronauts, and watch your fire—an astronaut caught in the crossfire is one less person you can save.

Fail to protect the astronauts and the consequences are catastrophic: the planet will be destroyed and the surviving aliens will transform into deadly Mutants!

The controls are what we used to call "dibby"..... Meaning they suck! The response of the ship is absolutely terrible. The thrust is off and the ship gets stuck! The look of the game brings back the memories but to real old school Defender champions this is a good attempt but that controls responsiveness and dynamics need work! Got my refund on this one but I'll check back and see if any improvements were made, then I'll buy it back!

it's OK, It's a lot like the orginal eccept for the controls. The controls suck. Other than that it's a fun game.

Pretty good but lacking original game sound and some original game features. Fun but not quite there.
