About this app

Stichbook Staff is the worker's app in Stichbook. It is built for karigars — the embroidery and garment machine operators who run the machines — not for owners or supervisors. Owners and supervisors use Stichbook, which covers payroll and the production desk in one app.

ONE JOB, DONE IN UNDER A MINUTE
When your shift ends, take a photo of the production slip your machine printed and send it. That is the whole app. No forms, no typing, no reports to write.

SIGN IN THE WAY YOU ALREADY KNOW
• Phone number and a 4-digit PIN — no email, no password to remember, no OTP to wait for.
• Your owner gives you the PIN. Nothing else to set up.

WORKS IN YOUR LANGUAGE
The entire app is in English, ગુજરાતી and हिन्दी. Switch language on the login screen, before you sign in.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Upload today's production photo for each machine assigned to you.
• Day shift and night shift are kept separate — each shift has its own upload slot, with its own machines.
• Add up to two extra photos and two voice notes to a submission when something needs explaining — thread broke, machine stopped, design changed. Speak instead of typing.
• Check your history: every upload with its date, shift, machine and status — Pending, Reviewed or Approved by the owner.
• See the total stitch count read off your slip, so you know exactly what was recorded against your name.

MADE FOR THE SHOP FLOOR
• Large buttons, few screens, usable one-handed with the phone in your pocket hand.
• Photos are compressed before sending, so uploads finish on a slow connection and use very little data.
• The slip is read on your own phone to confirm it is a real production slip from today, so a wrong or blurred photo is caught before it reaches the owner.
• Your owner sets the upload window for the unit — for example after the morning shift and after the night shift. The app tells you when your window is open, when it has not started, and what to do if you miss it.

YOUR WORK, ON RECORD
Every slip you send is stored against your name, your machine and your shift. When there is a question about a day's output, the photo and the time it was sent are already there — no arguments from memory.

YOU NEED A LOGIN FROM YOUR EMPLOYER
Stichbook Staff cannot be used on its own. Your organisation must already use Stichbook, and your owner creates your worker login inside Stichbook. There is no sign-up in this app, and there is nothing to buy inside it.
