Apex Ballistics is your rifle's record.

The solver is free — any distance, offline, forever. That part is table stakes and we do not charge for it. What actually puts rounds on target is everything around the solve: what that rifle has really done, at what velocity, in what conditions, and how far the prediction sat from the hole in the paper.

The Record
• Truing — correct the solution against your own measured impacts instead of a number off a box (Pro)
• First-round hit probability — a real percentage built from your demonstrated ability and each rifle's data: your wind call, velocity consistency and measured group size, solved against that rifle's confirmed load. It also names the single factor costing you the most. (Pro)
• Chronograph history per load, with standard deviation
• Temperature-corrected velocity, derived from your own chronograph history (Pro)
• Load development analysis of the strings you have already shot (Pro)
• Session logging for conditions, rounds and groups
• Per-rifle DOPE that stays with the rifle
• Export everything as CSV whenever you want

Honest About What It Is
Apex is a tool, not a guarantee. A solver models a shot; it does not fire it. Hit probability is a statistical estimate from the data you give it, and it deliberately excludes what no model can see — zero error, scope tracking, lot-to-lot variation, and the shooter on the day. Verify against real impacts and true your solution.

What’s new

Barrel change fixes
• Sessions from a previous barrel no longer leak into the new barrel's load statistics — average velocity, ES, SD and round counts come only from rounds fired through the barrel that's on the rifle, even for a barrel change made on the desktop.
• Factory ammo now carries over like confirmed loads, and loads an earlier barrel change left uncorrected are fixed automatically.
• Archived barrels made on the phone now show their loads correctly on the desktop, and vice versa.
