ApexOne VPN is a free virtual private network (VPN) app for Android. It uses Android’s VpnService API to create an encrypted device-level VPN tunnel from your phone to a remote VPN server. Your internet traffic is routed through this encrypted tunnel to help protect your connection on public or untrusted Wi-Fi and to let you choose a server location.

WHY THIS APP USES VPNSERVICE
ApexOne VPN requires the Android VpnService permission to provide its core function: a VPN connection. VpnService is used only to establish an encrypted network tunnel between your device and the selected VPN server. Traffic is encrypted from the device to the VPN tunnel endpoint.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open ApexOne VPN and review the in-app VPN disclosure.
2. Grant the Android VPN connection permission when prompted.
3. Select a server location, or use the recommended option.
4. Tap connect. The app starts a VpnService-based encrypted tunnel to the remote server.
5. You can disconnect at any time from the app or the system VPN prompt.

INTENDED USE
Use ApexOne VPN for lawful personal use, such as adding an encrypted tunnel on public Wi-Fi, choosing a server location, and checking your IP after you connect. You are responsible for complying with local laws and the terms of any website or service you access.

This app is not intended to hide illegal activity, evade law enforcement, access unauthorized accounts or content, or violate another service’s terms of use.

PRIVACY
When you use the VPN, network traffic is sent through an encrypted tunnel to the selected server. The app and its service providers may process limited technical data needed to operate the service, measure app performance, and improve stability (for example, device identifiers, connection events, crash or diagnostic data, and approximate location derived from IP).
