This is an internal business truck bidding application designed to streamline and digitize the price negotiation and approval process between customers and transport vendors. The application focuses on managing truck requirements, bid pricing, and approvals in a structured, transparent, and efficient manner.

Customers raise transportation requirements by providing key details such as pickup and drop locations, truck type, load capacity, material type, delivery timelines, and any special handling instructions. Once a requirement is created, eligible transport vendors are invited to participate in the bidding process.

Vendors review the requirement details and submit their proposed prices based on truck availability, route distance, fuel costs, and operational constraints. Vendors can update or revise their bids within the allowed bidding window. This ensures fair competition and accurate pricing aligned with real-time logistics conditions.

After reviewing all submitted bids, a vendor finalizes a price proposal. The finalized bid is then shared with the customer for review. Customers can carefully evaluate the proposed price along with vendor details, truck specifications, delivery commitments, and past performance indicators (if available).

The customer can either approve or reject the proposed bid:

Approval confirms the truck booking and initiates the next steps in the transportation workflow.

Rejection allows the customer to close the bid, request revised pricing, or reopen the bidding process for further negotiation.

The application maintains a complete audit trail of bids, approvals, and rejections, ensuring accountability and traceability across all transactions. Role-based access ensures that only authorized internal users can create requirements, place bids, or approve prices.

By digitizing truck bidding, the application reduces manual coordination, minimizes pricing disputes, and speeds up decision-making. It improves transparency between customers and transport vendors while enabling efficient cost management and faster turnaround times.
