An app dedicated to showcasing and defining primarily African literary work though with a good selection of quality non African titles.Easy and affordable access to a wide range of users.Keep up the good work. Hey Afrostory team, There has been a problem downloading new titles, none have been added to the app library too lately, this has gone on for a few months.Hoping you can address the issue as soon as you can.

All fixed long ago:) 7 books added recently! Yay! More to come. We are huge in Kenya and Nigeria right now, despite a temporary break from advertising! New software is out recently, working as it should. The app has >20 days of engaged reading cumulative daily, total >60k book downloads now. We love you Ted! Tell us what book YOU want in there?

The Afrostory app has improved greatly with recent updates, and now offers a variety of over 100 books, consisting both of local African literature, short stories and classic novels. The accessibility, user interface and readaloud functions work smoothly as well as place holders in books downloaded in the library. The addition of news services and an encyclopedia richen the experience. The app runs in a fluid manner, with access to an impressive amount of literary works and local creators.

Everything is free, basically, and you only need to sign in at the beginning using your Google Account once, which is automatic and very quick. You can download books then read them offline in the same App: stuff like Albert Luthuli's Autobiography and pan-African Poetry. World classics, too.

Plus it works on 99% of African smartphones, and yes it is free - there are well over 100 books chosen specially for an African audience and you can download as many as you want, and read them OFFLINE with Read Aloud :). 10 new free books added this past month. We try and cater to students and kids, too, with relevant Quality literature.. :)
