AlexiLearn is a free and ad-free app designed to teach emotions to people with alexithymia or autism how to identify facial expressions, recognize, and express emotions. Use a variety of features designed to make learning more fun and effective.
Identify Section:
Improve your learning with the Identify section. See how emotions arise in real-life by using your device's camera to identify the facial expressions of yourself and others.
Upload Section:
Upload images from your device and identify the facial expressions in it.
Minigame:
Increase the fun of learning with our minigame. Challenge yourself to express randomly assigned emotions within a set time, earning additional points for your correct answers.
Lesson Section:
Complete the interactive lessons, with images, videos, and questions. Learn about each emotion in detail with the frequently updated lessons.
Learn Section:
Use the Learn section of AlexiLearn to understand each of the seven basic emotions. View example facial expressions, matched with their emotion and a detailed description.
Practice Section:
Use the Practice section to apply what you learned in the Learn section. Answer questions of various types, and earn points for correct answers and streak bonuses.
Daily Reflections:
Reflect on your emotions to help you learn how they can arise in real life, and how they progress. Take a moment every day to express your feelings and the reasons behind them. This information will be stored for you, so that you can review it whenever you desire.
Statistics Section:
View your statistics in the Statistics section. Track your average accuracy, emotion-specific accuracy, and progression over time. Use the calendar to view your recent daily reflections, and observe how they changed over time and how they were affected.
