About this app

CANANDI is an advanced hunting dog tracking system. Protect your dog during the hunt and follow his every step via the app on your mobile phone. To be able to use this application, you need to have the original CANANDI dog tracking system.

Connecting the application to the system

After installing the application, create a user profile.
Turn on the hunting unit. Connect the hunting unit to the phone. If the hunting unit is registered on the user profile, the process takes place automatically.
Turn on the dog collar.
If the hunting unit or dog collars are not registered, do the following: The serial number and security code of the device are on the saved paper from the box that comes with the user manual. These numbers must be entered in the fields provided. It is MANDATORY to keep the codes in a safe place, because without them it may be impossible to use the necklace.
Open the desired group in which you want to transfer your units.
Hunting groups have a role to play in distinguishing the information you share with other hunters.
If you go hunting alone, the units need to be given to your private group.
By pressing the Add device to group button, you send new group addresses to your devices that are unique to each device.
IMPORTANT: DON'T TURN OFF THE DEVICES / MOBILE APPLICATION DURING THE ALLOCATION OF THE DEVICE TO THE GROUP, YOU NEED TO WAIT FOR THE STEPS TO COMPLETE COMPLETELY
When all devices added and active in the group are visible, the system is ready for use.
Start hunting
Note: Steps 5-7 only need to be repeated when changing groups. During everyday use, it is enough to just turn on the devices and start hunting.
Before you go hunting, download maps of the terrain where you will be hunting, and for that you need to have mobile internet. Select the region you want to download to the phone's local memory. You will be able to use all downloaded regions later, even in an area without a mobile network.

Dog collar registration
The serial number and security code of the device are on the saved paper from the box that comes with the user manual. These numbers must be entered in the fields provided.
IMPORTANT: SAVE THE SECURITY CODES FROM YOUR PACKAGING! Loss of codes may result in inability to use your necklace.

Enter the desired name of your necklace.
Press your finger on the Register Dog Collar button to complete the registration process

Dog list
The first screen lists all the dogs stored on your profile. Dog profiles can be managed from this screen.
Register dog profiles, fill in all dog information and save it. Later you can add and track up to 20 dogs at a time.

Hunting Groups
Hunting groups are a unique feature of the CANANDI system. They were created to enable the option of sharing information between hunters and at the same time provide the highest level of protection.
In order to start hunting, it is necessary to choose an active hunting group that contains a minimum hunting unit.

There are 3 types of groups:
The group that is currently selected and active is always at the top of the list and marked in dark green
Group that comes with the system - your private group where you can hunt when you are alone
Groups you are a member of and cannot manage

Necklace theft design
For the maximum degree of protection against theft, the necklaces do not have a fire button on them, but the entire control of the device is done through a mobile application.

First, make sure that the hunting unit is switched on next to the phone.
Ensure that the collar is within range of the hunting unit.
Open the "Devices" section in the application and click on the device from the list.
Select the Disable Collar option.
Wait until a confirmation message appears on the screen. The necklace is off if no LED indicator on it is lit.
