About this app

Everything happening in your city, all in one place.

Enterate is a private and independent project: it is not an official app of the Uruguayan government, any municipality, or any public agency, and it is not affiliated with or authorized by any of them. It is an aggregator of publicly available information, organized by city.

It gathers information from municipal websites, local newspapers and radio stations, and the accounts that serve as local news outlets in each town, showing you only what's relevant to your area. Local news and events, no account required and free of charge. It also includes announcements from national agencies: UTE (electricity company), OSE (water company), DGI (tax authority), BPS (social security bank), INUMET (National Institute of Meteorology), SINAE (National Emergency System), and ministries.

INFORMATION SOURCES AND DISCLAIMER

All government information displayed in the app comes from public websites, freely accessible without registration. In case of any discrepancies, the information published by the source prevails. This is the complete list of official websites we consult:

CENTRAL SOURCE. The official website of the Uruguayan government is https://www.gub.uy. From this website, we can read press releases from the 13 ministries (https://www.gub.uy/ministerios), the General Directorate of Taxation (https://www.gub.uy/direccion-general-impositiva), the National Emergency System (SINAE) (https://www.gub.uy/sistema-nacional-emergencias), and the departmental governments of Cerro Largo, Florida, and Lavalleja, which publish their information within gub.uy.
