If you're new to Genti, here's a quick guide on how to access African stories, audiobooks, audio drama, podcasts and language learning content on the go.
Genti is available for both iOS and Android devices. You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play store.
Once you have downloaded and installed the app, open it and sign in with your email address and password. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one for free.
Once you're signed in, you'll see the main dashboard with all the different content categories. To access a particular type of content, simply tap on it. For example, to listen to audiobooks, tap on the "Audiobooks" category.
To start listening to a story, simply tap on its title. The story will start playing automatically. You can control playback by tapping on the play/pause button or by using the scrubber bar at the bottom of the screen.

I found this app while looking for content with authentic Nigerian accents, so as to train my ears to the accents. This app does provide excellent stories for this purpose. However payment processing does not work! The other way to enjoy the stories is to do ad watching marathons between listening sessions. None of the ads have Nigerian accents. Customer support did not respond to inquiries.

Finally! An app for African content with local languages. It's so refreshing to hear stories narrated in African accents and languages. I also love that I can download stuff and listen to it during my commute on the tube when I don't have internet access. Definitely recommend!

I love it but Why has the app been crashing lately and can the fees be reduced??? Or coins for each fee be increased or better still the minutes of each episode increased. Amount of money I spend on just a chapter or story is crazy, when you add up everything.
