haikuary is your haiku diary blending the ancient Japanese art of haiku with the quiet reflection of keeping a diary. Each day, you're invited to pause, notice the small moments, and capture them in just 17 syllables.

Whether you're reflecting privately or sharing with the community, haikuary is a calm and creative space to capture the tiny flakes of your life.

Why haikuary?

It all began in 2011 in a Japanese restaurant in Auckland, New Zealand with a single haiku scribbled on a placemat about my lunch.

Come here young noodle,

we shall be good friends

I built a website to offer a platform for others to do the same on a daily basis - this is now an app for you to do the same.
