Pond Peril is a trap-based trick platformer starring one very unlucky duck. Every level looks simple. It never is.
Some gaps are just barely too wide to jump — until you find the button that spawns a bridge. Except there are usually two buttons, and only one of them helps. The other spawns a spike pit right under your feet.
That's the whole game, really: nothing here wants to make your life easy. Hunters take aim from a distance, sharks leap out of the water the instant you jump over a gap, falcons dive-bomb you from above, chainsaws swing, spike walls creep in, gravity flips without warning, and floors that are secretly lava give way the moment you land on them. Somewhere nearby, there's always a button that lies.
You'll die a lot. That's fine — respawns are instant, and every death teaches you something the level was quietly hiding. Press Down to duck under low hazards, time your jumps against real physics, and never trust a trap on the first try.
100+ levels across six themed chapters, each with its own twist:
• Getting Tricked — learn the rules, then immediately get punished for trusting them
• Spike City — pure jump-timing over spike pits, now under the occasional thunderstorm
• Floor's Lava — almost every floor gives way under you; keep moving
• Which Button? — two buttons, one bridge, one trap. Choose carefully
• On the Move — ride elevators and shuttle platforms across gaps too wide to jump, while a hunter takes aim
• Topsy Turvy — gravity flips, walls that aren't really there, and a finale that throws everything at once
One wrong button, one wrong step, one very unlucky duck.
