All the recipes in this app are written in English, with detailed, yet easy-to-follow instructions.

The recipes are created by Manuela Kjeilen from Norway, who runs her social media channels under the name @passionforbaking, where she has shared her love for baking for more than ten years, both as a baking blogger and book author with more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

My number one focus when I create recipes, is good and delicious taste; everything else is a bonus and a cherry on top.

Most recipes are typical Scandinavian, featuring light cakes with fresh fillings; you will also find a lot of old-fashioned styles of cakes where you just want to grab your fork and dig in.

As a Pastry Chef of 22 years, I decided to check out this app. There are some decent recipes. There are far more bad recipes. There are errors within directions. Example: Swiss Meringue Buttercream recipe talks about Butterscotch Buttercream in the directions. Overall I would say this would be good for a home cook not a professional. Also, avoid any of the Swiss Meringue Buttercream recipes if you want to keep your sanity. Every single one is flawed.

The app is worth it given it's a one time payment. The directions are detailed and I like that she posts a step by step pictures which is very helpful for someone who never cooks to follow. It would also be superb if they could include videos. The app has an issue with browsing, when I browse all the frosting recepies some doesn't come up, it only comes up when I search for it. Other than that, it is a wonderful app.

App won't open, even though payment has gone through 😥 Having said the above, after a few teething problems, I've been able to access the app with Manuelas kind help. She guided me with things to do and to check ✔️ I have to say the app is absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail on all the recipes is gorgeous, and it gives you the options in the app to save these recipes in your favourites. Please if you encounter any problems, be patient as you won't be disappointed. Happy Baking 🧁🍰
