The "Neg Mawon" was the name given to the runaway slaves from the plantations. It was a representation of resistance to slavery and oppression. Today, we use the term to celebrate the strength and bravery of our ancestry. We are about the empowerment of a new generation who stands for justice and freedom. So our Mawon brand is a celebration of our ancestors . We are governed by Self Determination.
