For this reason, the Arab Health Expenditure Management Company (MEDEXA) was launched as a private shareholding company in Jordan in 1999 by experts specializing in insurance management. The company has expanded in several countries including Jordan, Syria, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Turkey and Germany.
