About this app

Using this app with your ChromaComfort exhaust fan you are able to create a custom personal color ambiance in your bathroom or other humidity-prone rooms.

Control light settings (colored or white) and brightness, set timers, control the fan, or create scenes with your favorite colors, all this is possible with ChromaComfort™ A spa-like experience is only the tap of your screen away via this Bluetooth™ connected App.

Compatible with Broan AER110RGBL, AERN110RGBL, SPK110RGBL, SPKN110RGBL, FG600RGB & FG800RGB for the US. And then AER110RGBLC, AERN110RGBLC, SPK110RGBL, SPKN110RGBL, FG600RGB & FG800RGB for Canada.

Due to app enhancements, if a problem with the app is encountered after upgrading, follow these steps to update your app:
1. Unpair the fan from your phone Bluetooth settings. Note, this is different than disconnecting the fan from your Bluetooth, you must “forget” the device on your phone
2. Uninstall the Chromacomfort app
3. Reinstall the Chromacomfort app from the Google Play Store

Meh. I am so glad I don't have to depend on the app for this fan to operate. Had high hopes, however it is unreliable. I turn off the blue tooth connection and toggle it back on and sometimes it works. Right now, just trying to get the "scenes" and fan to operate consistently. Haven't even attempted to get music to work. The fan is so much quieter than our original, like that I can adjust the brightness. Hope Broan can work out the problems, would really like to be able to use the app.

Edit: calling Technical support for a app issue is not a good response. App needs improvement. This app needs to be updated. App is still so slow to connect and control fan even on a new phone. Setting the timer for fan should take one step not have to apply every time you click on something. Also should be able to connect and disconnect from the app, not going into the phone settings to connect to the fan. Submitting a review through the app is broken.

Light output only seems bright on the one "white light" setting which seems around 4-5000k but would be better to have the ability to match to the other lights in the bathroom (2700-3500 Kelvin). The changing of the brightness is buggy, would be nice if it was instantaneous but I have to fiddle with the brightness with the light off and turn it on and off a few times for changes to take effect.

What's new

Fix the cycle duration of a scene with less than 8 colors.
Fix the light intensity mismatch between the device and the application.
After an app factory reset, the white color is the default.
The app font size can only scale by a factor of 1.1x to avoid hiding important controls.
Renaming a device does not toggle the light anymore.
On Android, display only connected devices in the device list.
