Okii! Piikani Child and Family Services in Brocket, Alberta is proud to present version 3.0 of the Piikani Paitapiiyssin Learning Application.
The Piikani Paitapiiyssin v3.0 App continues to grow as a rich learning tool for Piikani language and culture. Building on the foundation of version 2.0, this new release adds even more words, stories, images, and cultural teachings to support learners of all ages.
What’s New in v3.0:
Expanded Vocabulary: Now featuring over 500 Piikani Blackfoot words and phrases, each with translations, phonetics, and audio recordings.
Vocabulary with Images: Selected categories now include pictures alongside audio and phonetics, making learning even more engaging.
New Illustrated Stories: Enjoy Naapi and the Rock with fresh illustrations, plus a brand-new illustrated story, Naapi and the Bullberries.
Historical Image Gallery: Explore old Blackfoot photos of prominent community members, now enhanced with AI-powered animations that respectfully bring history to life.
Additional Piikani Prayer included in the cultural learning section.
