PlastyPesa is a recycling-education app. Scan any item to learn what it's made of and how to recycle it, sort your waste at home with clear guidance, take quick daily quizzes, and watch your verified eco-impact grow.
How it works
- Scan & Learn — point your camera at any item to identify its material and get honest recycling guidance.
- Sort at home — submit photo proof of your sorted recycling; our review team verifies every submission.
- EcoSort game — a fast sorting game with real items and real plastic grades (PET #1, HDPE #2, PP #5). Progress is determined by skill.
- Daily quiz — five quick questions a day on plastics, materials, and the circular economy.
- Community — share progress and tips with other members in 7 languages.
Recognition you earn
Every verified action earns points. The weekly leaderboard recognises the top contributors — the week's #1 becomes Champion of the Week, and ranks 2–5 earn their place on the board. Standings are determined by genuine learning and recycling activity. Points reset every Sunday; your lifetime points keep growing and unlock higher recognition tiers.
Impact you can verify
Every figure we show — sorted items, CO₂e saved — is based on verified activity and documented coefficients. No green-washing.
Your data, respected
We use eco-handles instead of real names, never sell your data, and no phone number is needed to sign up. Full GDPR rights, in-app account deletion, 7 languages.
