Qampo is a system that allows the monitoring and analysis of agronomic and environmental parameters in order to optimize production, quality and environmental sustainability.
At Qampo we look for ways to carry out intelligent agriculture, this is achieved by performing crop management based on monitoring by observing and mediating the many factors that affect the crop.
From Qampo smart agriculture is done through the use of our stations, sensors and dataloggers located on the plot. These systems collect information that is then used to make decisions with greater precision, and also to optimize crop performance.
The first step to apply to smart agriculture is to carry out a first study of the plantation framework, the type of soil, the irrigation system and the climatology of the area, with the obtained data deciding which station to install and which sensors as well as their distribution by the plot.
Once everything is installed, the data obtained is recorded, stored and processed to facilitate its interpretation and understanding and thus have all the information to make the best decisions about the actions to be taken.
Applying smart farming has many benefits:
• Save on plant protection products and fertilizers, this reduces costs and optimizes production.
• Produce more efficient and ecological agriculture by reducing the environmental impact by optimizing the use of water, pesticides and fuel for machinery; Thus, with fewer resources, greater production is obtained, which allows us to face the challenge of reducing arable land that we see today and the growth of the world population.
