Rakshan helps families build healthy digital habits. Parents can see how a child uses their device, view location, manage safety settings, and set limits that work for your family.

LOCATION & SAFETY
Use GPS or Wi-Fi to see real-time location, set geo-fences, and get alerts when your child enters or leaves a safe zone.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE
Rakshan uses the Android Accessibility Service API on the child’s device for core parental control features. With your consent, Rakshan uses Accessibility to:
• Detect which app is in the foreground for screen-time and app-blocking rules set by the parent
• Block access to restricted apps when limits apply
• Help prevent the child from disabling Rakshan or bypassing protection in system settings (such as force stop or uninstall)

Rakshan does NOT use Accessibility to record phone calls or read keystrokes, passwords, SMS, or other private message content. No such data is collected, stored, or transmitted through the Accessibility Service.

Before enabling Accessibility, the app shows a clear in-app disclosure with separate Agree and Deny options. You must turn on Rakshan in Android Accessibility settings after accepting.

PARENTAL CONTROL & CHILD SAFETY COMPLIANCE
Rakshan is exclusively designed and marketed as a parental control app for parents monitoring their children. This app is not intended for monitoring spouses, partners, or any individual without authorization.

The child's device will always display a persistent notification whenever Rakshan's protection is active. The child is aware the app is installed.

In compliance with Google Play's Monitoring Applications policy:
• The isMonitoringTool flag is declared in our app manifest
• Prominent disclosure with Agree and Deny options is shown before enabling Accessibility Service
• No personal messages, keystrokes, browser history, or private content is ever collected
• All monitoring data is encrypted in transit
