In 1988, the Brazilian Federal Constitution was implemented, systematizing the hierarchical structure of union representation in Brazil, enshrining, at the same time, the principles of union unity and non-interference and non-intervention of the State in the organization of unions.
In this context, the Union of Charitable Hospitals and Philanthropic Institutions of the State of São Paulo (SINDHOSFIL/SP) was founded, exclusively representing the interests of the charitable hospitals and philanthropic institutions of the State of São Paulo.
