A little maths. A growing world.
Help Ollie grow a garden, build a bridge and discover new adventures. Sprout Math turns early maths practice into short, hands-on activities with clear hints, a drawing board and rewards to work towards.
MATHS THAT GROWS WITH YOUR CHILD
Choose an age from 5 to 8 and select one or more categories. Each age has a bank of 1,000 practice questions, with 4,000 questions in total. Available categories and skills vary by age.
• Age 5: Counting and comparing amounts to 20, joining and taking away, small lengths, whole-hour clocks, shapes and repeating patterns.
• Age 6: Numbers to 100, tens and ones, introductory hundreds, addition and subtraction, halves and quarters, coins, quarter-hour clocks and patterns.
• Age 7: Three-digit number sense, two-digit calculations with regrouping, equal groups and sharing, fractions, five-minute clocks, shapes and maths stories.
• Age 8: Three-digit calculations, larger multiplication tables, fraction operations, elapsed time, change, area, perimeter and multi-step stories.
Age provides a starting point. You can choose an easier or harder level for each category. Sprout Math supports foundational practice; it is not a complete school curriculum or an assessment of your child's grade level.
CLEAR CATEGORIES AND LEVELS
• Explore 4 categories at age 5, 6 at age 6 and 8 at ages 7 and 8.
• Each category has 3 to 5 levels, with a name and explanation of the skills covered.
• Progress by answering different questions correctly on the first try, without hints, across more than one skill.
• Keep separate category choices, levels and unfinished work for each age.
• Revisit questions for review after completing the available practice at a level.
WORK IT OUT, THEN CELEBRATE
Build numbers with visual blocks, complete patterns, explore fractions, use coins and clocks, and solve maths stories. Open Draw & calculate to work things out with different colours.
Helpful hints and explanatory feedback guide the next attempt. Completed-mission reports show time spent, answer accuracy and hints used. Earn seeds, grow plants, unlock parts of the adventure map, discover gifts and customise your companion.
FIVE FREE ACTIVITIES
Five completed activities are included free per account. Each activity is one question. Continue with a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime full-access purchase. Local prices are shown in the app before purchase. The monthly plan renews until cancelled; the lifetime option is a single payment.
