TIMANA DHAM is a sacred digital initiative created to preserve and share the spiritual history, faith, and cultural legacy associated with Timana Dham, a holy place and temple dedicated to Mahakalika Maa.
According to ancient historical records maintained by Barot Dev, the origins of Timana Dham date back several centuries. The village of Timana became home to the ancestors of the Pandav family, namely Hama Bhabha and Kheta Bhabha, two brothers who were granted agricultural land by the rulers of Bhavnagar and Talaja (Ebl Raja). Through hard work and devotion, they cultivated this land and served the community.
During that era, the ruling king, seeking divine blessings for a worthy heir, approached the ancestors of the Pandav family. As a sacred gesture of faith, the king offered gold coins and requested that they be used for a noble and righteous purpose.
Fulfilling this divine responsibility, Hama Bhabha and Kheta Bhabha organized a grand Yagna (sacred ritual) that continued for nearly six to eight months. This Yagna was an extraordinary spiritual endeavor. Witnessing this great sacrifice, devotion, and service, villagers and relatives declared that such a Yagna was comparable to those performed by the Pandavas of the Mahabharata.
From that moment onward, the family came to be known as the Pandav Family, a name earned through righteousness, devotion, and selfless service.
At the heart of this sacred land stands Timana Dham, a revered place where the divine presence of Mahakalika Maa is worshipped. The temple is a powerful center of faith, protection, strength, and spiritual guidance for the Pandav family and all devotees. Timana Dham is not merely a temple, but a living symbol of belief, tradition, and ancestral heritage.
