Great app for a great barbershop!

Went here for the first time. Called ahead to see what the wait time was. I Spoke to a Barber who could've easily told me no persons were currently waiting but instead instructed me to download an app to make an appointment. At the end of my transaction it became clear why he made me book through the app to collect my $5 appt fee. This is not listed in the description of this app nor did he mention it over the phone as a courtesy. Needless to say I've never paid $30 for a haircut and felt a bit misled.
