About this app

Ahkam is a simple reference application that compiles verses from the Quran that state rules (rulings) under subject headings. No commentary, interpretation, or explanation is added; the verse is presented as is, with its translation and source.

SUBJECT-BY-SUBJECT RULING VERSES
Prayer, fasting, zakat, Hajj and Umrah, ablution and purification, sacrifice, and many more topics. When you tap on a topic, the verses related to that topic appear in the order of the Mushaf.

ARABIC, TRANSLATION, AND SOURCE ALL IN ONE
Each verse card contains the Arabic text in Uthmani script, a Turkish translation below it, and at the bottom, the surah name, surah, and verse number. You will always see which verse you are reading and where it comes from.

SEARCH IN TRANSLATION TEXT
Type the word you are looking for; all verses in the translation text where that word appears will be listed with their sources. The results will again appear in the order of the Mushaf.

All surahs in the order of the Mushaf; each surah includes the number of verses, Meccan/Medinan information, and its Arabic name.

The subject headings are only an index; they do not contain any legal inferences. Verse selection is based on verses that are accepted as conveying rulings in classical legal literature. A verse may be related to more than one subject; in this case, it is listed under all relevant subjects. Please consult qualified individuals when making decisions on religious matters.
