Plan your week without leaving one screen.
Loopweek is a free, open-source weekly to-do app for Android. The entire
interface is one screen with seven days — tap a day to expand it, type a
task, done. No calendar grid to navigate. No month view to lose focus.
No account to create.
It's a weekly planner built on constraint: the accordion single-open-day
model keeps the screen short and predictable, so you always see exactly
what matters right now.
WHY PEOPLE SWITCH TO LOOPWEEK
• One screen, seven days — no navigation for the core loop
• Tasks stay on their date — incomplete tasks never roll over
• Independent recurring tasks — edit one, history is untouched
• One accent color across the app and home-screen widget
• Home-screen widget with tappable checkboxes (no need to open the app)
• Optional reminders — notification permission asked only when you turn one on
• Light and dark themes, follows your system setting
WHAT'S NOT HERE (ON PURPOSE)
• No accounts, no login, no sign-up
• No cloud sync, no server, no data leaving your phone
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics
• No in-app purchases, no paywalls, no premium tier
• No calendar view, no month view, no project boards
• No swipe gestures — just tap and long-press
Loopweek is for people who want a simple weekly to-do list that stays
out of the way. If you've uninstalled a task app because it asked for
too much, this one's for you.
KEY FEATURES
Weekly to-do list
A weekly planner that lives on one screen. Today is expanded by default;
tap any other day to expand it.
Date-specific tasks
Add a task to Tuesday and it stays on Tuesday forever — until you move
it. No automatic rollover.
Recurring tasks, done right
Daily and weekly recurrences generate independent occurrences. Complete
or delete one and past and future ones are never affected. Stop a
recurrence without touching history.
Home-screen widget
Medium widget shows today + your next 5 tasks. Large widget shows up to
10. Tap a checkbox on the widget to mark it done without opening the app.
One accent color
Pick Orange, Pink, Blue, or Green. The same color marks your active
checkbox, your primary buttons, your toggles, and your widget.
Themes
Light, dark, or follow the system. Manual override in Settings.
Reminders you control
Add an optional reminder to any task. We'll only ask for notification
permission when you actually turn one on — never at startup.
Drag to reorder
Long-press a task to drag it within its day. Sort by time or priority.
Fully offline
Works without an internet connection. Always. The app has no network
code in the release build.
100% local storage
Everything lives in a local SQLite database on your phone. There is no
server, no backup service, and no way for anyone else to see your tasks.
Open source
Loopweek is MIT-licensed and built in Flutter. Read the code, file an
issue, or send a pull request on GitHub.
PRIVACY
Loopweek stores everything on your device. There is no telemetry, no
crash reporting that phones home, no analytics SDK, and no advertising
network. The app does not request any permission until you turn on a
feature that needs one.
• No network permission requested at install
• No location, contacts, microphone, or camera access
• Notification permission only when you opt into a reminder
• Storage permission only if you choose to back up manually
Built for people who want their task list to be private.
A simple weekly planner. No accounts, no ads, no cloud. Just your week.
