About this app

Have you and a friend, a partner or someone you just met ever been in the same place without knowing it? Denk uses two pieces of information that already sit next to the photos on your phone: where and when they were taken. It compares them only between two people who have added each other, and shows how many times your paths crossed.

FOUR LEVELS
- Same moment — Same place, at most two hours apart. You were probably in the same crowd.
- Same day — Same place, different times. Maybe they arrived as you were leaving.
- Same week — A few days apart in the same neighbourhood.
- Same period — Same city in the same month.
We also show the near misses. Sometimes the best story is the one you missed by two hours.

YOUR PHOTOS NEVER LEAVE YOUR PHONE
Denk never opens, displays, uploads or stores any of your photos. It only reads the location and date tags provided by the operating system, and blurs them before they leave your device:
- The exact coordinate becomes an area ID of roughly 150 metres.
- The capture time is rounded to a one-hour slot.
- These two values are all that reach our server. Your address or the exact moment cannot be reconstructed.
Inside the app, "What am I sharing?" shows every row sent to the server, exactly as it is.

CONSENT FROM BOTH SIDES
Nobody can see your past without your approval. A report needs two separate approvals: first both people add each other, then the person the report is about approves the request. Without approval, nothing is compared or shown. When a report is approved, only your common points are visible. Places where you did not cross paths are never shown.

DENK GEL — MEET PEOPLE
Meet people whose paths have crossed yours. Not at random: only people who were really in the same places appear.
- It is a closed space. Unless you join, nobody sees you and you see nobody.
- Add up to five photos; the first three appear on your card, the last two open only when you match.
- You see in how many areas you crossed paths; where exactly stays hidden until you both like each other.
- You choose and upload your profile photos; location, device and date tags are removed completely during upload.
You get a notification when you match and when a new message arrives.
You can report and block anyone who bothers you, right inside the app.

GETTING STARTED
1. Try the app without an account and see how it works.
2. Create your username. We don't ask for a phone number or email.
3. Allow gallery access; the scan runs on your device.
4. See where you've been, add someone and request your report.

PRICING
Downloading the app, scanning your photos and seeing your own history are free. Only creating an encounter report with a person costs money:
- Single report — a one-time purchase for one person.
- Denk Weekly, Denk Monthly and Denk Yearly — reports with 7 different people per month, unlimited likes on Denk Gel and seeing who liked you. Cancel anytime.
- Super Like packs — one-time purchases to stand out on Denk Gel.
If your request is declined or not answered within seven days, the credit returns to your account and you can use it for someone else. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Google Play account settings after purchase.
