Drypulse plays low tones through your phone's built-in speaker to help push water droplets out of the speaker grille after it gets wet. Open the app and tap Start: no sign-up, no survey and no subscription.
How it works
• Auto (default 30 s): 165 Hz pulses, then a final 130–200 Hz sweep. Choose 30, 45 or 60 seconds in Settings
• Deep: two longer passes with a short pause, 60 seconds in total
• Earpiece mode for the top speaker on phones that have one
• Manual tone from 60 to 1000 Hz with presets; it stops after 60 seconds
• Stereo test: play the left channel, the right channel or both
• Optional sound check: measure loudness before and after with the microphone and see the relative change
Clear and safe
• Live countdown, progress ring and the real waveform while the tone plays
• Checks before you start: it detects Bluetooth, wired, USB or HDMI audio and tells you which one to disconnect, so the tone plays through the speaker you want to clean
• Shows whether the speaker is pointing down, using the motion sensor
• Raises the volume during cleaning and restores your original volume afterwards (you can turn this off)
• A 30-second rest after three runs in a row
• Light and dark theme, 32 languages
Ads and purchase
No ad ever plays while a tone is playing. A small banner may appear on the home and help screens, and a full-screen ad may appear only when you return home after a completed cleaning. A one-time purchase removes ads. There is no subscription.
Privacy
The microphone is used only for the optional sound check, for 3 seconds, after you allow it. Audio is analyzed on your phone and never recorded or sent.
Good to know
• Results vary by phone, case and amount of water. Sound can only help with droplets in the speaker grille.
• It cannot dry a charging port or microphone, remove dust, repair a speaker or make it louder than normal.
• If your phone was submerged, turn it off and let it dry naturally. Do not use hot air, rice or cotton swabs. If sound is still missing or crackling, or a liquid warning remains, contact the manufacturer's service center.
