About this app

Record and document meter readings – for electricity, gas, water, and other meter types. With MeterReadyLog, you can capture every reading with a photo, keep track of the reading history, and generate PDF reports. Processing is done locally on your device.

**Capture via Photo**

Take a photo of your meter or select an existing photo from your gallery. Text recognition suggests possible meter readings and works directly on your device. Compare the value to the photo, correct it if necessary, and confirm the reading.

**Manage Multiple Meters**

Record electricity consumption, PV feed-in, gas, water, cold and hot water, heating, heat cost allocators, heating oil, and other meter types. Enter the name, meter number, location, and a suitable unit of measurement.

**Keep Track of Reading History**

View your readings with the date, photo, notes, and differences between meter readings. Search the history by date, meter reading, or note. Subsequent corrections are logged along with the previous and new entries.

Create a PDF report for a single reading or the entire history of a meter – optionally with or without photos. You can open, share, and delete saved reports.

**Encrypted Backups**

Back up your meters, readings, photos, corrections, and saved PDFs in a password-protected backup file. This allows you to restore your data or transfer it to another Android device using MeterReadLog.

**Local and Account-Free**

Data capture, text recognition, PDF creation, and backups all work offline. There are no ads, no tracking, and no automatic cloud synchronization. You decide whether and where you export or share PDFs or backups.
