Drywall calculator, concrete calculator, paint calculator and tile calculator in one app. Tallyard says what to buy: concrete bags, drywall sheets, paint cans and tile boxes, with waste added and every count rounded up.

Built for US job sites: feet, inches, pounds, gallons and cubic yards by default, with a switch to metric (meters, kilograms, cubic meters). One material calculator, sixteen tools from a concrete calculator to a stair calculator, one screen each.

• Slabs, footings (strip, pad or pier) and a bag counter: how many 40, 50, 60 or 80 lb bags, side by side, or the ready-mix order in cubic yards

• It works in metric too: 20 to 40 kg bags and cubic meters

Drywall calculator
• Sheets for walls, ceiling or both, 4 × 8, 4 × 10 or 4 × 12, with a screw count
