About this app

Compass — a simple, accurate, ad-free navigation tool.

Core features

· Precise compass: sensor-fusion algorithm (rotation vector / geomagnetic / accelerometer + magnetic fallback) shows magnetic north smoothly and in real time, with tilt compensation for stable readings in any orientation and no drift when the screen rotates.

· True north correction: when location permission is granted, your local magnetic declination is applied automatically, aligning readings to map true north.

· Target aiming: lock a target bearing and see the live angular difference and turn hint between your heading and the target.

· Sun directions: automatically computes today's sunrise and sunset bearings from your coordinates and the date — handy for planning.

· Declination & magnetic info: shows inclination and field strength in real time.

· Coordinates & altitude: view your current location data (requires location permission; GPS provides real altitude).

· Level bubble: helps keep the dial level for more accurate readings.

· Heading lock: fix a reference bearing to observe deviations easily.

· Keep-screen-on & haptic feedback: subtle vibration when crossing the major headings (N/E/S/W); keep the screen on at night.

· Supports 13 languages, following the system automatically.
