DimLight is a dimmable flashlight for your phone's LED. Instead of blinding full power, dim the flashlight to one of five brightness levels and get exactly the light you need: a soft glow in a dark bedroom, a little more for the hallway, full brightness outdoors.

Brightness levels need Android 13 or newer and a phone whose flash supports dimming. On other phones the torch works as a simple on/off light, and Screen Light gives you an adjustable glow from your display.

DIMMABLE FLASHLIGHT
• Five brightness levels, from a gentle low light to full power
• Quick presets: Low, Half and Max
• One big power button that is easy to find in the dark
• Pick the default brightness used when the light turns on
• Dark, warm amber design that is gentle on night-adapted eyes

SOS FLASHLIGHT
• Flashes the international SOS pattern with correct Morse timing
• Repeats until you stop it, with a large Stop button
• Optional: share your location as a map link through the app you choose
SOS is not a substitute for calling emergency services.

MORSE CODE FLASHLIGHT
• Type any message and the LED blinks it in Morse code
• Quick messages: SOS, HELP, I'M HERE, OK and SAFE
• Watch each letter and its dots and dashes as they are sent
• Speed from 5 to 28 words per minute, with a repeat mode

STROBE LIGHT
• Interval strobe from 200 ms to 10 seconds, or set the speed in BPM
• Slow, Medium, Fast and Max presets
• A photosensitivity warning before first use, and never faster than 5 flashes per second

FLASHLIGHT WIDGET AND QUICK SETTINGS TILE
• Quick Settings tile to switch the flashlight on or off from the notification shade
• Home screen widget with a power button and the five levels
• Shake to turn the torch on or off while the app is open
• Optional notification with Dimmer, Brighter and Off buttons

SMART AND BATTERY FRIENDLY
• Auto-off timer: 1, 5, 10 or 30 minutes
• Turn the light on when the app opens and off when you leave
• Battery saver dims the light when the battery drops below 15%
• Battery level shown on the main screen
• Vibration feedback you can switch off

PRIVACY
DimLight controls the flash LED directly, so it never asks for camera permission. No account or sign-in. Location is used only if you tap Share in SOS. Anonymous usage and crash reports help us improve the app, and you can turn them off in Settings.

A simple flashlight that is handy for reading in bed, checking on a sleeping baby, finding the bathroom at night, power outages, camping, hiking, dog walks and roadside stops. Low brightness is gentler on your eyes and less likely to wake the people around you.
