This is an updated and expanded version of the old game called Launch! that was available a few years ago. The original dev quit working on the game and made the code open source, and Ballistic Games picked up where he left off. Counterforce keeps the classic gameplay loop of Launch! while expanding on it, adding new and interesting forms of combat such as aircraft, ships, submarines, and infantry. While this game is not as simple as Launch! was, it is still addictive and enjoyable to play.
