About this app

boxr is a free boxing trainer that can be configured to suit your level of fitness and skill. Moves are spoken out so you can ignore the screen and focus on punching (and dancing) your way to a stronger, faster, healthier you. Current configuration options are:

Stance:
orthodox (right-handed)
southpaw (left-handed)

Level:
amateur - shorter combos
pro - longer combos

Style:
out-boxer - for those with superior footwork and longer reach, who prefer to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.
in-fighter - for those with cannons for arms and cannonballs for fists, who prefer to get up close and personal

Speed:
slow
normal
thunder
lightning

Rounds:
1-15 rounds

Round length:
1-3 minutes

Break length:
1-3 minutes

Manage Combos:
Modify, remove, or create your own combos!
You decide which combos you want to work on by creating your own list. You can keep your favorites and throw in a few new ones to keep things interesting

Future releases will have the following features:
1. Option to yell out numbers instead of actual moves to fit more combos (and burn more calories) in a round
2. Restore defaults
3. Switch-hitting option for ambidextrous fighters
4. Male and female voice options
5. [Ambitious] Make this go beyond boxing and turn this into a universal trainer by letting you create your own moves! Might need to be released as a separate app to avoid confusion

it was working good for the longest time but got on it today and it's not telling me what punches to throw past 2nd combo

I honestly love this app. It's simple. Fun and you can work up a good sweat. Shame it's been forgotten

Decent. Tried a couple and went for Boxtastic as just a bit slicker and has extra workout modes. But worth trying them both and seeing which you prefer.

What's new

Bugs fixed:
- overhand move not switching properly when in southpaw mode
- save bug when attempting to save a combo without any moves

Special thanks to:
- the owner of the Experia M2 who reported the crash
