About this app

Take Me There lets you set an alternative GPS location on your Android device using the mock location API built into Android itself. No root required.

Pick a spot on the map, or search for any place by name, and your device reports that position to apps that request location.

HOW IT WORKS

Take Me There uses Android's official test location provider. Because this is a developer feature, you need to enable it once:

1. Go to Settings → About Phone and tap Build Number seven times
2. Open Settings → Developer Options
3. Find "Select mock location app" and choose Take Me There
4. Return to the app, pick a location, and tap Set Location

The app includes a setup guide with shortcut buttons that take you straight to the right settings screens.

FREE AND PRO

The free version is fully functional, with two limits:

- Location sessions end automatically after 15 minutes
- You can save one favourite location

Take Me There Pro removes both. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

PRIVACY

Take Me There collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics and no advertising. Your location never leaves your device, and saved favourites are stored locally and deleted when you uninstall.

- Android 8.0 or later
- Developer Options enabled (the app guides you through it)

NOTE

Some apps detect and decline to run when a mock location is active. This is a decision made by those apps and is not something Take Me There can change.
