Olive Shoots is one shared calendar for everyone in the house, with a locked kiosk for the children, points and rewards for their fruits, and a daily report for you. It runs on the devices you already own.

★ A CALENDAR YOU ALREADY KNOW ★

For parents, Olive Shoots works just like the calendar built into your phone, with the same day, week, and month views and the same quick event editing. Any event can be made completable, given a point value, and included in the daily report. Color-coded categories and repeating events keep everyone's schedule straight, and any event can carry a photo or icon a child can spot at a glance. It works offline, and syncs when you reconnect.

Open the app and the day is laid out: what's up next, how each child is doing, and whose birthday is coming.

★ YOUR OTHER CALENDARS ★

Connect Google Calendar, or add iCloud, Outlook and school calendars by link. Their events sit beside your family's own, in every view and on the kiosk, and stay read-only. Moving in for good? The import wizard copies one across as editable events, repeats and all.

★ KID KIOSK ★

That spare tablet in the drawer? Mount it by the kitchen door and lock it into kiosk mode. Children can check things off, and nothing else. Exiting requires the parent password, and the board returns to the home view on its own. No child accounts, no sign-ins.

For a child who isn't reading yet, switch on accessibility mode: the same day as large picture cards, sized to suit.

★ POINTS, REWARDS & GOALS ★

Chores earn points. Children spend them on rewards you set, like ice cream, a movie night, or screen time priced by the minute, and you choose which they may redeem themselves. Goals work the other way round: reach a lifetime total or a streak and it's won, costing nothing.

★ THE DAILY REPORT ★

Know how the day went: a per-child rollup of what's done, what's remaining, and points earned, over the 24-hour window you choose. Missed something for a good reason? A parent can grant it late and settle the day.
