About this app

Ready English is a language learning app that makes learning vocabulary a daily habit through up-to-date English news and stories.

Instead of providing ready-made topics or artificial sentences, the app uses real news and original stories updated daily as reading material. When you tap on a word you don't know, you see its meaning and example sentence, and you save it to your vocabulary notebook. Then you play games with those words.

News

While reading the daily updated English news feed, you encounter foreign words directly in context. You can see the meaning, Turkish translation, and pronunciation of the word with a single tap. Research shows that words learned in context are much more lasting than those memorized.

Stories

The system has pre-recorded English stories prepared for different levels. You can listen to each story audibly, see its sentence-by-sentence Turkish translation, or simply read along.

Vocabulary Notebook

The words you save are collected in your personal vocabulary notebook. For each word, you can see the meaning, example sentence, and pronunciation information. Over time, your vocabulary notebook becomes a reflection of your learning history.

Word Games

Various games are available to reinforce the words in your vocabulary notebook. Since the games only work with the words you've recorded, each user's experience will be different.

Read-On and Translation

All content can be listened to audibly. You can switch between English and Turkish and compare sentences side-by-side.
