QR Teky - Scanner & Generator

App Teky

About this app

QR Teky is a fast, offline QR code scanner and a studio-grade QR code generator — free, with no ads and no account required for any of the core features.

WHY QR TEKY

Works completely offline. Scanning, generating and your history all run on your device.
No account needed. Sign in only unlocks two optional sharing features — everything else works the moment you install.
No ads, ever.
Nothing you scan or create is sent anywhere unless you choose to share it.

SCAN ANYTHING
Point your camera at any QR code or barcode for instant detection — no button to press. Toggle the torch or switch cameras, and open scanned links in a hardened in-app browser instead of handing them to a random app. Every result lands in a clean sheet you can copy or act on immediately.

DESIGN QR CODES THAT LOOK LIKE YOU
QR Studio is a full QR code creator, not just a generator:

Templates for websites, Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS and plain text
Six color palettes, plus custom module and finder-eye shapes
A gapless style option and adjustable error-correction level
Drop in your own logo — QR Teky automatically raises error correction so the code stays scannable
Export as a high-resolution PNG to your gallery or straight to the share sheet

YOUR HISTORY, ON YOUR PHONE
Your last 100 scanned and generated codes are saved locally and searchable. Re-render any past code as an image or share it again in one tap. History stays on your device unless you deliberately turn on optional cloud backup.

NFC, TOO
Read NFC tags to see what they hold, or write a QR Teky link straight to a tag — no separate app needed.

TEKY LETTERS — A SECRET MESSAGE BEHIND A QR CODE
Write a private letter, lock it with a secret word, and share it as a QR code or link. The recipient needs no app and no account — they just enter the word. Your message is encrypted on your phone before anything leaves it (AES-256-GCM, with a key derived from your word using 210,000 rounds of PBKDF2). QR Teky's servers only ever see ciphertext — never your message or your secret word.

TEKY CARD — YOUR PROFILE, ONE TAP AWAY
Turn your contact details into a digital business card at one shareable link. Share it as a QR code or write it to an NFC card. Update your details once and every code and card already handed out points to the new version automatically.

PRIVACY BY DEFAULT
Scanning, generating and history work fully offline from the moment you install — no account, no network connection required. Signing in is entirely optional and only unlocks Teky Letters, Teky Card and cross-device history backup. Nothing else in the app depends on it, and you can keep using QR Teky without ever creating an account.

Free on Google Play. No subscriptions, no ads, no in-app purchases.
