MEATER® is the world’s first Wireless Smart Meat Thermometer that can help you cook meats perfectly every time.

The MEATER® app, together with the MEATER® meat thermometer (sold separately at https://meater.com/shop) will change the way you cook your meals, and make it a new and exciting experience. Using patented software algorithms, the MEATER® app will give you cook time estimates, and guide you towards the juiciest steak, chicken, turkey, fish or other cut of meat that you've ever cooked.

Ratings and reviews

Not fully functional. Will not let me check type of meat , nor let me set a target. Internal temperature reading is 3-4 degrees below actual. Nice idea, but not quite there yet. I updated the review: product , I think is a great idea, and it works well. I think the app is acting up and is caught in a loop showing the "What to expect" over and over again. It will no doubt straighten out eventually.

Wish I never bought it. I shouldn't have to attempt pairing 50 times before the thing finally connects, which I did last summer. Now that winter is over and I'd like to cook outdoors again, it refuses to connect yet again. I'm forced to go through the connection process which simply doesn't work. Multiple times where the app says it's connected, yet the block and probes won't actually show up in the app and the block itself is showing it isn't connected. Great concept, horrible execution.

Constantly disconnects from thermometer. Even when I place the meater charger and my phone a foot apart and a couple feet from the grill, the disconnects are so frequent that I can't rely on the data. The last cook with a ribeye disconnected at 115 and then finally reconnected and displayed 145. Very disappointed. I reached out to your support. I got an automated email response with the same suggestions as was already provided in your support FAQ. Definitely not helpful.
