The app is extremely slow. It prevents my access to content with full screen pop up ads and in-page ads that cover the copy. The app's new "follow" feature seems half baked. Not only does it not let you choose your own topics, but the ones it offers are often way off the mark. An article about John Lennon ’s art offered to let me follow "Paul McCartney," but not "John Lennon," "art" or "Beatles."
I pay the for the LA Times digital subscription so dislike having to scroll through adware and wait minutes for articles to load. App is very slow and clunky. Please provide comparable service to the N.Y. Times or I will be forced to cancel subscription.
Good app, but after reading an article and returning to the main page, the shuffle is irritating. Ads sometimes cover some of the content. Perhaps a case of trying to be too clever, when a basic "newspaper" page would do a better job.
Ads block content in every article. Very annoying and frustrating. I tried opting out of the ads, but nothing changed. Otherwise, I like it.
Love LATimes opinion section. BUT there are large ads right in the middle of articles which totally block whole sentences in the article. Very frustrating!
Great paper, generic app. Unreadable system fonts. Type placed over every picture on the index pages. IOS version is better. Sad.
