1. Storage: Hours Keeper needs this permission to store exported files in your phone. And when you choose to upload a photo from Gallery, Hours Keeper needs this permission to read photos.
2. Camera: Hours Keeper needs this permission to take photos when you choose to upload a photo via camera.
3. Phone: Hours Keeper needs this permission to make a call when you choose to contact the client directly within app.
4. Contacts: Hours Keeper needs this permission to read contacts in your device when you choose to import a contact as client.

I work freelance or self employed as you say. I dont need any fancy software with GPS, bookkeeping, calendars & so on and so forth. All I need is time keeping & invoices. and that's what this app does. It's super easy to figure out how to use the app. I just tested the clock made fake invoices & looked at reports (added bonus) to see how this app works & it is great. I use quickbooks but it's not mine & I don't want to spend the money. there is a word of caution.their are periodically played ads

This app is a lifesaver!! I have recently have had to keep track of STRICT hours for myself and a coworker. Each month we are allowed 146 hours put together to care for a private client. This app tracks the time down to the minute. Gives you the option to set a certain pay period to your specific needs. Con- doesn't allow more than 2 clients without having to pay. All in all I highly recommend this app. If it wasn't for this app I would honestly be lost.

Almost perfect! It just needs a pause button. Being a new sole proprietor, I get constant interruptions (calls, emails, texts) or I have to look up info (because I'm new) that I cannot bill my client for. I need to be able to pause and resume instead of having to clock out completely. It would be much easier to clock in, pause when needed and then clock out when I'm actually done. I have to use my phone timer then input the info later d/t the interruptions. 😣 Everything else is AMAZING!
