SmartRemote gives you instant, ad-free control over your televisions directly over your local home Wi-Fi network.

SUPPORTED TELEVISIONS & PLATFORMS
SmartRemote currently provides tested, direct Wi-Fi LAN protocol support for:
• Roku: Complete control over all Roku TV sets (TCL, Hisense, Sharp, Philips, Onn) and standalone streaming players (Roku Express, Streaming Stick, Premiere, Ultra). Uses direct HTTP on port 8060.
• Android TV and Google TV: Encrypted TLS connection with secure PIN pairing on port 6467. Compatible with Sony Bravia, TCL Google TV, Hisense Android TV, Philips, Chromecast with Google TV, and Nvidia Shield.

PLATFORMS COMING SOON
We only activate manufacturer protocols after physical hardware testing. The following platforms are in development and will roll out in upcoming updates:
• Samsung Smart TV (Tizen WebSocket protocol)
• LG webOS (SSAP WebSocket protocol)
• Built-in Infrared (IR blaster transmitter library for legacy televisions)

• Quick Settings Tile: Pull down the Android notification shade to send remote commands from any screen.
• Multi-TV Profiles: Save separate configurations for living room, bedroom, and kitchen televisions.
• Manual IP Connection: Connect directly to custom subnets or hidden networks by typing your television's IP address.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
SmartRemote runs completely on your local network. It does not collect personal identifiers, does not transmit viewing habits to external trackers, and does not require an account or login.
