APROGSYS R&D

About this app

Immuch360 is a fork of the Immich mobile app for people who shoot with a 360° camera (Insta360, GoPro Max, Ricoh Theta, Samsung Gear 360) or with the photo sphere mode of a phone. It connects to the Immich server you already use, with the same account, and adds what the official app does not have yet.

360° PHOTOS AS A SPHERE
Open a 360° photo and press the 360° button: the picture surrounds you. Drag to look around, pinch to zoom, double tap, inertia, the view the camera recorded when it opens, sharper texture when you zoom in. Turn on the gyroscope and look around by moving the phone. Partial panoramas are handled.

360° VIDEOS
360° videos play in a spherical player with sound, drag and sensor tracking. The copy stored on the phone is used when there is one, otherwise the video streams from your server.

FIND THEM
A 360° badge on thumbnails and a 360° entry in the Library tab that lists every 360° photo and video, newest first.

META QUEST 3
The same app runs on a Meta Quest 3 headset as a window, and the 360° button switches to an immersive view where the photo or video is all around you. Sideloading only.

EVERYTHING ELSE IS IMMICH
Backup, timeline, albums, search, sharing, partners, all synced with your server. Only stitched 360° files are shown as spheres: exports from the Insta360 app or Studio, GoPro Player, Ricoh Theta, and phone photo spheres. Raw camera files still show flat.

This is a community project, not affiliated with nor endorsed by the Immich project or FUTO. It talks only to the Immich server you enter; nothing goes to the developer. Source code and release notes: https://github.com/freeKC/Immuch360

What’s new

New in this version:
- Videos from slow NAS boxes (Freebox Server and others) play without pausing: the file is read over several SMB connections in parallel.
- The players show "Buffering" with a percentage while they wait for data.
- The photo permission banner is translated in every language.
