See your frame rate without leaving your game. PulseFPS is a simple FPS meter for Android with a small floating counter and a straightforward Shizuku setup.
Connect Shizuku, allow the overlay, and tap Start. The meter follows the foreground app and stays in view while you play. Drag it wherever it feels comfortable, or turn on touch-through to lock its position.
• Floating FPS counter for games and apps
• Average frame interval in milliseconds
• Recent FPS chart, session average, and peak
• Three sizes, three accent colors, and adjustable background opacity
• One- or two-second updates
• Stop from the app or notification
• Pauses while your screen is off or locked
• Coin wallet with optional rewarded ads
PulseFPS reads Android compositor statistics through Shizuku. It does not change game settings or boost performance. It never uses your screen refresh rate as a substitute for app FPS.
Requirements: Android 8 or newer, Shizuku 12 or newer running and authorized, and display-over-other-apps permission. Root is optional. On Android 11+, Shizuku can start with wireless debugging; older unrooted devices need a computer.
Frame data availability depends on your phone's software and the app you measure. Some devices or protected surfaces do not expose it. Compositor FPS can differ from a game's internal render counter, and PulseFPS shows when a reading is unavailable.
Each new FPS session uses the displayed number of coins. New local wallets receive welcome coins; earn more by completing optional rewarded ads. The app also displays banner ads. Coin amounts are remotely configurable. Failed starts return their reserved coins, and a running session has no further coin charge.
No sign-in is required. FPS readings stay in memory; preferences and coins stay on your device. Supabase supplies settings and updates, and Google AdMob serves ads. An Internet connection is needed for initial wallet activation and ads.
