The setup app is critical to the usefulness of a system like the Archer D1x and fortunately this is an excellent app. It's intuitive and easy to use and navigate, always makes a fast and stable connection to the D1x, and has many useful features. Well done Archer! Update- I'm now using the updated app with the Gen 2 version of the D1x system and it's still a great app. I've never had a connection issue and the new features of the Gen 2 system are cool.

Needs a bit of polishing. First thing I noticed is with the app icon. It appears to be broken as it's using the default android icon and not the Archer logo. I'm running a Pixel device with the latest version of Android if that makes any difference. I'm not a huge fan of the sliders. They are a bit small and can be difficult to see what value you are trying to select as it's cover by your finger. The other issue with the sliders is it will jump to different value when you remove your finger.

the product itself, phenomenal. but this app is complete trash. I'd say 95% of the time is spent just trying to connect or waiting for the device to show up on the list. it's like the device and the app rarely ever "see" each other. when it works, then there's no complaints. but as I said, it almost always doesn't. this makes it real hard to reconfigure the d1x when I can't even access the settings.
